Oooh, shiny!

Concentrate on not dropping this big, and heavy, piece of azurite. This game is made for Unpolished Jam revolving the theme "Go deep". Inspired by the name of the game jam, I made a game about a mineral.

This is my first ever published 3D game, as I decided early on to try something new, and as a result I also chose to focus on physics and lighting. Everything is made by me within Godot - except for sounds which are pulled from well-known free-to-use sites.


Instructions

WASD to drive the cart as fast as possible to beat the best session time. SPACE to reset if you're either stuck or foresee a bad time. ESCAPE to get back to the main menu.


Disclaimer

Exporting and uploading the game produced bugs. Especially annyoing is the occational loud sound spike when hitting play. Surely this is read beforehand, giving the player a chance to turn down their sound, right? Another weird bug is the death sound playing multiple times when dropping the azurite inside of the goal entrance. There are more.

uhhh cool game but where is the theme implementation

The theme is "Go deep". The game jam page mentions examples like "an underwater cave", "don't stay at the surface", and "dig further" - I would say a game about transporting a mineral through a cave is implementing the theme :)
